Dural Music Centre employs over 30 staff in a variety of Teaching, Retail & Administration roles.

Music Teachers

As part of its continuing expansion, Dural Music Centre is increasing the capacity of its private tuition facilities to meet the enormous demand for instrumental tuition

Lessons take place in our recently built spacious, air-conditioned, sound-proof studios located alongside Dural Music Centre’s retail premises.   This state of the art facility will also incorporate small rehearsal studios which may be used for recording and small ensembles.

Billing and other administration will be taken care of by our full time administration team and internal teacher programs receive support from DMC retail staff.

Positions are available for teachers of all wind, brass, keyboard, piano, string, voice and percussion instruments as well as teachers of ECM, music theory and small ensembles.

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Comprehensive knowledge and enthusiasm for their instrument and its repertoire.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Good presentation, punctuation and reliability.

 

All applicants must also be able to comply with appropriate working with children regulations.

Desirable attributes include:

•         Experience working with children of primary and high school age.

         Experience working within a team environment.

         Ability to teach other areas (such as music theory/composition/ECM)
